Unum has officially acquired the renewal rights to Generali UK’s employee benefits business

Following our announcement on 21 May, we’re pleased to confirm that full legal and regulatory approval is now in place and Unum has officially acquired the renewal rights to Generali UK’s employee benefits business, effective 1 August 2025. Unum is now the
administrator of all in-force policies and claims previously managed by Generali UK Employee Benefits.

  • Please note that from 1 August 2025, Generali UK Employee Benefits no longer offers terms for new business. All new business quotations will be provided by Unum.

  • For existing business quotations required post 1 August 2025 (including alterations, future rate guarantee expiries etc) – please contact your usual Unum representative.
