World Mental Health Day
10 October 2025
World Mental Health Day, held annually on 10 October, is a global movement to raise awareness and advocate for mental health care access. Led by the World Health Organization, the day encourages open conversations about mental wellbeing, challenges stigma, and promotes systemic change. Each year, a theme highlights a pressing issue—such as workplace mental health or universal access to care. Organisations, schools, and communities host events, share resources, and support those affected by mental health conditions. Whether through storytelling, fundraising, or policy advocacy, World Mental Health Day reminds us that mental health is a human right. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters 🔗 WHO campaign page
Together with our Wellbeing Investment Matching partners and Early Intervention partners, we’ve designed and collated a vast range of wellbeing communication material in line with key national and international health awareness days. This repository of resources is designed with HR, Line Managers and Employees in mind. Many of the workshops and training courses in our wellbeing calendar are completely free of charge.
Any employers interested in cost option workshops or training courses provided by our wellbeing partners should talk to us about Wellbeing Investment Matching - an initiative by Generali UK to help companies partly or fully fund a wellbeing initiative where a specific need is identified.
