World Menopause Day

World Menopause Day, observed on 18 October, raises awareness about menopause and its impact on women’s health and wellbeing. Organised by the International Menopause Society, the campaign provides educational resources for both healthcare professionals and the public. This year’s theme focuses on Hormone Therapy, addressing myths and offering evidence-based guidance. The day encourages open dialogue about symptoms like hot flashes, mood changes, and sleep disturbances, which can affect quality of life. Resources include expert interviews, infographics, and downloadable toolkits to support informed decision-making. World Menopause Day is a chance to break the silence, reduce stigma, and empower women to navigate this natural life stage with confidence.

Together with our Wellbeing Investment Matching partners and Early Intervention partners, we’ve designed and collated a vast range of wellbeing communication material in line with key national and international health awareness days. This repository of resources is designed with HR, Line Managers and Employees in mind. Many of the workshops and training courses in our wellbeing calendar are completely free of charge.

Any employers interested in cost option workshops or training courses provided by our wellbeing partners should talk to us about Wellbeing Investment Matching - an initiative by Generali UK to help companies partly or fully fund a wellbeing initiative where a specific need is identified.
