Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Week

Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Week (RAAW), organized by the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), aims to raise awareness about rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This annual campaign educates friends, family, employers, and the general population about the distinct nature of RA compared to other forms of arthritis. RA is an autoimmune disease that can affect anyone over 16, impacting joints and internal organs. Late diagnosis or lack of appropriate treatment can have serious consequences. The theme for RAAW 2023 is #RAdrain, highlighting how day-to-day activities can drain energy for those living with RA. For more information, visit the NRAS RAAW page.

Together with our Wellbeing Investment Matching partners and Early Intervention partners, we’ve designed and collated a vast range of wellbeing communication material in line with key national and international health awareness days. This repository of resources is designed with HR, Line Managers and Employees in mind. Many of the workshops and training courses in our wellbeing calendar are completely free of charge.

Any employers interested in cost option workshops or training courses provided by our wellbeing partners should talk to us about Wellbeing Investment Matching - an initiative by Generali UK to help companies partly or fully fund a wellbeing initiative where a specific need is identified.
