Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month
01 November 2025 - 30 November 2025
Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, held every November, aims to transform outcomes for one of the deadliest cancers. With over half of patients dying within three months of diagnosis, awareness and early detection are vital. Pancreatic Cancer UK’s campaign includes Challenge 24—encouraging people to walk, run, or cycle 24 miles to represent the 24 lives lost daily. Fundraisers can also host events or “Turn It Purple” to support research and GP education. The campaign highlights symptoms like jaundice, unexplained weight loss, and abdominal pain, urging people to seek medical advice early. #PancreaticCancerAwareness #TurnItPurple 💜 🔗 Get involved
Together with our Wellbeing Investment Matching partners and Early Intervention partners, we’ve designed and collated a vast range of wellbeing communication material in line with key national and international health awareness days. This repository of resources is designed with HR, Line Managers and Employees in mind. Many of the workshops and training courses in our wellbeing calendar are completely free of charge.
Any employers interested in cost option workshops or training courses provided by our wellbeing partners should talk to us about Wellbeing Investment Matching - an initiative by Generali UK to help companies partly or fully fund a wellbeing initiative where a specific need is identified.
