National Older Workers’ Week

National Older Workers’ Week, held in late November, celebrates the value of workers aged 50 and over. With one in three workers expected to be over 50 by 2025, the campaign promotes age diversity and inclusive hiring. Events include job fairs, panel discussions, and employer showcases. The Department for Work and Pensions has doubled its network of 50PLUS Champions to support older jobseekers. The week also highlights retraining opportunities, midlife MOTs, and apprenticeships for older adults. It’s a chance to challenge ageism and build multigenerational teams that thrive. #NationalOlderWorkersWeek #AgeDiversity 🔗 Learn more

Together with our Wellbeing Investment Matching partners and Early Intervention partners, we’ve designed and collated a vast range of wellbeing communication material in line with key national and international health awareness days. This repository of resources is designed with HR, Line Managers and Employees in mind. Many of the workshops and training courses in our wellbeing calendar are completely free of charge.

Any employers interested in cost option workshops or training courses provided by our wellbeing partners should talk to us about Wellbeing Investment Matching - an initiative by Generali UK to help companies partly or fully fund a wellbeing initiative where a specific need is identified.
