Gynaecological cancer awareness month

September is Gynaecological cancer awareness month.  It is important that we educate ourselves and others around us about gynaecological cancers. Talking openly about what might feel like an embarrassing topic can help people be aware of the symptoms, early detection and treatments for gynaecological cancers. For example, regular cervical cancer screening is important for anyone with a cervix. Yet, 1 in 4 don't attend their cervical screening test.
