Go Sober for October
01 October 2025 - 31 October 2025
Go Sober for October is a powerful health and fundraising initiative by Macmillan Cancer Support, encouraging people to give up alcohol for the entire month. By going alcohol-free, participants not only improve their physical and mental wellbeing—experiencing better sleep, more energy, and clearer thinking—but also raise vital funds for people living with cancer. The campaign is inclusive and flexible, allowing individuals to take part solo or as part of a team. Participants can track their progress, share their stories, and even use a “Golden Ticket” to skip a day if needed. Every pound raised helps Macmillan provide essential services like nurses, helplines, and emotional support. Whether you're looking to reset your relationship with alcohol or support a loved one, Go Sober for October is a meaningful way to make a difference. 🍹 #GoSoberForOctober #SoberHero 🔗 Join the challenge
